1995 Honda Passport overheating?Tonight I was driving around in my Passport and noticed the temp guage was close to the red. Guessing it was the radiator, I headed for a gas station to gain a number of water. As I was doing so, the oil light came on. When I got to the gas station, I checked the radiator and oil levels, and both were normal. Only to be safe, I topped off the radiator and place in a quart of oil. However as quickly as I began driving it again, the temp went back up, and the light came back on. The oil light goes away when I'm accelerating, however when I'm idling it comes back on. It is been a wonderful truck for the past 2 years and 30k miles that I have owned it however something interesting happened recently. I was driving at night and I noticed the headlights and dash lights dim slightly. I glanced over at the alternator guage and it had dipped from 13-14 volts to just 11. A slight whine and howl came from the engine compartment however the lights did not dip any further. Even when I would put on the high beams. The battery light never came on. It's either a '95 or '97 model (I am not quite sure). Anyhow, he is been complaining that he cannot get the seat to scoot far enough back. He is 5'10", however has never had this dilemma with any other vehicle prior to. We have even previously owned Honda's prior to and they have always been plently roomy. Has someone else experienced this dilemma amongst Passport seats or are his perhaps broken? He said they barely scoot back and then lock...leaving him scrunched up while driving. Any assist would be much appreciated! No mechanical difficulties since i bought it a year ago, and i have ridden it hard. plenty of engine chatter from day one, thoughi truly desire to attempt 20w50, so i am fishing for circumstances why i shouldn'tRead more on this topic
