The display on my car radio went dark...?I've a 2003 Honda Accord. The other day the display went dark and it has not returned. You can even now use the radio so I know it is working, and if you look truly hard in the sun, you're able to view the display and it does change (it is accurate). So what the heck is going on? I am assuming it is not a fuse since it is working. I would not care except that it is the clock, radio display, air, and all the things. Is this gonna set me back a fortune to gain fixed?Thank you for your assist, it was a lot lot more helpful than the first answer...I can be a girl, however I am not dumb I am calling the Honda dealer Monday to see if they will assist out...I am prepared for a fight, getting dealers to do whatever thing free always is...
Read more on this topic Honda Radio Problem?I took the stock radio out of my 2000 Civic SI with the aim to put an aftermarket Jensen radio in. I bought the car used and the previous owner had an aftermarket radio in the car and took it out when the car was sold, so the wires had been cut and then crimped back together. I unhooked them all and tried the Jensen, which i couldnt get to work, so I took that out and decided I'd purchase a wire harness later, and then tried to place the aged stock radio back in. I put all the wires together correctly, matching the colors with every other, and then tried to utilize the stereo. The thing wont come on, IT DOESNT ASK FOR THE CODE, it only wont come on at all. Please helpI would take it in, however I called Honda and they reffered me to a local dealership where I talked with somebody in there servicing department who said it starts at 95 dollars and hour only to gaze at the damn thing. Id rather fix it myselfI did say that it wast getting any power right, meaning the code comment was pointless, sorry.I figured it out, it was a blown fuse.....Read more on this topic lights killing radio???ok this morning when i turned my headlights on i noticed that my radio shut off and then turned on again. also when my light are on and I use my signal it kills my stereo and then it turns on again, however i use my signal with lights off this doesn't happen. what could this be ??????? also if my head lights are on are on the emergency lights do not kill my radio and the signals do ????????????? thanks all. somebody had this dilemma few days go...I searched and did not locate anything? so thank for helping me.Read more on this topic
