Is it bad news when a car idles rough?I discovered a 1988 Honda Prelude with 37,000 miles. It's going for an incredibly nice cost. I talked to the dealer on the phone. He said the sole difficulty amongst car is that it idles rough. Is this a large problem? Does this tend to have an over priced fix? Is this odd for an car with such low miles?I am test driving the car tomorrow so I will gain the ability to see for myself only how rough he was talking. First time was great, smoked out a number of carbon so I did it again...Immediately the CEL came back on and is blinking, car feels like it is gonna die at idle for the reason that it shakes. Also pings when accelerating. Took it to autozone, pulled the code say a cylinder 1 misfire, i am gonna check the plugs following.
