Should I trade in my baby??? (s2000)?I'm the very proud owner of a Honda s2000. It's entirely stock amongst exception of a 6 puck clutch, and it's simply the the majority of incredible car i've ever owned. If you own one, you understand what i am talking about... If you've never driven one, you are able to't possibly realise what i am talking about so do not bother creating a number of stupid remark. It performs amazingly and I smoke only about anything that pulls up next to me (gotta love that 9,000 rpm redline!!!!) The dilemma is, I've 3 years of college left and I commute about 60 miles everyday. My car already has 102,000 miles on it. I only found a 2003 Mustang GT with just 8,000 miles, and they're asking $17,900!!! I understand that the mustang wont preform also including my s2000 and I'll prob be disappointed with it unless I get a number of performance mods. What ought to I do?!?! I ADORE my auto, however I am uncertain it is certain to last me through college. NOT A THING can compare to revving an s2000 up to 9,000 rpm. Serious comments just please!Read more on this topic S2000 Help (intelligent answers please)?I only purchased my second S2000. It's the 2001 model (AP1). I think about myself to be fairly knowledgeable when it amounts to automotive performance, however there seem to be a lot of diverse opinions when it amounts to modifying the S2000. I'm considering upgrading to a K&N cold air intake, and a HKS Hi-Power Dual exhaust. A number of individuals seem to think that these are true performance upgrades that'll produce small HP increases and overall better performance. A number of individuals say that these are purely "bling" upgrades that'll not produce any performance over stock. And a number of individuals say that the s2000 is just right in stock form and these upgrades are entirely unnecessary and will actually reduce performance over stock. Cash isn't an issue for me, as I'm also considering buying a hardtop and upgrading the suspension. I do not do much "drag racing"... I relish road rallys through the twistys and track days. I need great opinions, preferably with dyno proven outcomes. What do you guys think?Read more on this topic How much whp do you think a s2000 F20 motor can get N/A fully built?I'm totally curious about how much whp a F20 motor can get N/A. I built a ls/vtec N/A and it has around 220whp constantly running low 12's nearly 11's. And I have not even built the head. I'm in an arguement with somebody who loves FI. He says that you're able to't create a 300+whp s2000 with no putting $20,000 into it. I totally disagree. A number of please answer this question for me. I know B series motors and what they're capable of N/A however F series not so knowledgable on them only yet. Thank you to anybody who answers.Read more on this topic
