My gear shift has started "sticking" pretty bad in Park?

It is a 92 Honda Accord LX and has been a WONDERFUL auto, until as of late...lol. I have owned it since 2001 with minor repairs. What sign of trouble is this gear shift thing?Nope, i know to place the emergency brake on and place it in park prior to i take my foot off the brake, however you raise a valid point for individuals that do not know to carry out that.

hard time shifting gears 1991 hcwagon 5sp

Hello Honda experts,
I'm the original owner of a 1991 Honda Civic Wagon, 5-speed guide trans w/ 340,000 miles. It is gone through 2 clutches amongst last clutch installed a year ago. It still has it is original transmission. In under the previous few weeks I have been having a difficult time getting the gears to shift. If I'm at the stop light, sometimes I'm able to't throw it into 1st gear and when it is running I've a difficult time shifting it from 1st to 2nd gear or reversing it. However, when I turn the engine off and engage the clutch, it shifts okay so today, I needed to turn the engine off at the stop light with the aim to shift my car to 1st gear, then start the engine and go. I'd a car mechanic put more fluid in the transmission and the gears worked fine for about a week and then acted up and became stuck again. Any ideas as to what you think the difficulties may be? Thank you in advance for your assist. I'm in Hawaii.

Honda models what dont have the shift stick on the floor?

I dont know alot about cars, so I can not say everything the correct way. I know I desire a guide auto.I truly like the Honda Civic HB (1985-1991) models however since I'm just getting an car for the reason that I'll be starting college, my mom does not trust the truth that this models are old and I would've to drive about 4 hr. to gain to school. I was told that there was a Honda model that had the shift stick up/not on the floor. After looking up a number of models I truly only got more confused......so,Is there an actual model that has it or is it only any model with specifics? (Civic vs. Civic LX vs. Civic EX)From what years was it offered? The distinction from Civic Si Coupe and a Civic Ex?What's the "Si"?What kind of milage per gallon do this cars get?Are the great Cars?Smoothness?Am I better off only not going with this type of cars (racing or sport) and sticking to mommy cars?
