98 honda accord lx 5speed stalls cuts out when driving?with the turning left signal today the speedomitor dropped up and down. Plus the engine stalls each once and a while at 55mph and turns back on by it is self. Has someone else had this dilemma prior to?I brought it to Autozone within 24 hours and got the codes P1457 meaning Purge Solenoid valve Low programme Malfunction?and a code P0420 Catalyst efficiency low- bank 1?What ought to I do? This happened to me prior to however the car never cut back on and this guy said i needed a new distributor so i got another used coil pack and distributor and it worked. so i dont know? assist it is not not a thing like alternator or clogged fuel filter, fuel pump, or anything like that.Read more on this topic 99 Accord Automatic Stalling?our lovely 99 Accord Automatic has recently been stalling for no reason. when you get out of the gas to suddenly or are only coasting /slowing down to create a turn it is certain to stall. I say it is a dilemma amongst fuel programme somewhere or possibly the idle needs to be set higher, however my dad seems to think otherwise (what he thinks i've no idea) rarely it is certain to have trouble starting. it is certain to start, then die a second later. (def fuel or idle right?) it is not the air filter as it's fairly new. Thank you for the assist!Yes the recall on the ignition was done in september of 2003.
