'98 Accord v6 coupe, cannot start when left in the sun too long and become toohot...Why does not it start? 1998 Honda Accord Lx V6 CoupeWhen I let it sit in the sun too long the inside become too warm it will not start. I then open door and windows sunroof for 15 minutes to cool down, sometime half hour, then it start again Does anybody know why or have a solution to this dilemma. Each immediately and then, after parking it for a while, it only wont crank. It turns over, so I know the battery and the starter are fine, however it does not start. It's only like when you attempt and begin an car with an unprogrammed key, it turns and turns, however it does not crank. Oddly enough, if I let it sit about 10 minutes, the car will fire right up. This scenario just happens about once each a fortnight, so it's rare. It's under warranty, however the local dealership is clueless. They have tested many stuff, (fuel pump etc.) and even replaced a recalled fuel pump relay. However not a thing has worked. The car has been wrecked prior to on the right front, and I wonder if that has anything to carry out with it. Can anybody assist?Read more on this topic a noise on 1994 accord front left when started?When I start my 1994 accord it makes a funny buzzing sort of sound, similiar to the power antenna however under the hood right by the left wheel, it does it for about 30 seconds everytime and if I roll all 4 windows down at an identical time the noise sounds like it is straining... what could this be??? ought to I be concerned?Read more on this topic
