94 Honda civic will not start?My car is having trouble starting all of a sudden, first it use to overheat, however that problem h as seem to been fixed. As of today the car will not start, it sounds like it has all the power when I am starting it, it only does not turn on. I'd a similar problem prior to. My car would not start, I bought a new battery at that time, turned out that the battery was not getting charged cause wire from the alternator to the battery was covered with like erosion or crust something. I do not think thats the dilemma immediately. Sometimes at a traffic light the rpm's will drop to about 300, it is certain to shake a little and go dead. When it does-then it is certain to not re-start. Sometimes when I stop somewhere and cut it off, then it can not re-start when I attempt to begin it again. The engine will crank over fine , the motor only will not run. If I leave it for several hours, and come back to it-then it cranks and runs fine and will go for days or weeks prior to it does this again.I replaced the plugs, wires, rotor, and dist. cap. The battery is great, and the starter is great. It seems as though it just does this after the engine has warmed up, never cold. It runs good, only 3 or 4 times a few weeks it is certain to shut down and will not crank until it's left alone for two hours-any ideas.Read more on this topic have 2 90 Honda Civic They both have intermitant start problems. The Fuel P. relaychecks out ok.?I've checked the fuel pump relays by the guide. I also took the cover off of them and checked the simply made relay for damage ect. they're as perfect as new yet the fuel pump doesn't always come on. If you wait a while or turn the ignition switch many times. it is certain to eventuly come on and the car will begin imediatly. does any one know the cure for thisRead more on this topic
