92 Civic does not start?I do not know why however each immediately and then my car will not start. It runs good however it has these moments when it will not start. This mainly happens at the gas station, everytime I finish putting gas into it I need to wait 5-8 minutes for it to begin. Or if I do not drive it for one day or 2 and/or let it sit too long it takes about 30 minutes to gain it began. What maybe the dilemma?Read more on this topic Civic starts then turns off.?after not driving my civic eg4 1.5 lsi for a week, i returned to drive it, to notice a dilemma. it was consuming way too much fuel. i once would calculate 30 miles from a fiver. however the max i had was 18, however twice immediately, it is given me 6/7miles from a fiver. I was driving to the trafford centre when i reached a downhill slope, and the car hesitated to accelerate. i kept on accelerating, however it only died on me. i called a mate down, got out the jump leads, still no luck. then i got a number of fuel, and it immediately began. i've sinse changed the fuel filter, (which had black fuel in it) and the spark plugs. Yet still i've the dilemma. Anybody know what it could bee? ive read on it, could be a defective catalytic converter/fuel pump. please assist!!!!nope, im sure it is not wrong fuel or oil. however, several months earlier, alot of glass fiber came out of my exhaust. if i put fuel in my auto, it is certain to only vanish, this is the reason i don't put fuel in. also, when the car stays began ( by repeatedly pressing throttle) air pops out of the air filter instead :s how weirdRead more on this topic 06 Civic fails to start in the coldI have got an 06 Civic that I could not get to begin when it was a little cooler than -20 up here in Fairbanks, Alaska. We have got a block heater in the thing though and it had been plugged in, so it ought to not have had and difficulties starting. We let her crank an extensive period of time several times to no avail, so we had her towed in.They came back and told us the warranty would not cover the "repairs" for the reason that we flooded it. So I have found out that you're able to flood a fuel-injected vehicle. How long is safe to crank the engine prior to you should lay off to steer clear of flooding? They also claim that the flooding ruined our spark plugs which will must be replaced at $24 a pop!! This seems entirely unreasonable to me. How can a thing that usually costs $2-$6 run me $24?? And can flooding truly ruin the spark plugs? It is only gas on there, not oil. That should not cause any damage as far as I know. Or would oil somehow get in there when it floods??Any advice is appreciated! Read more on this topic
