07 Odyssey Steering Noise

We recently purchased an 07 EX-L and have put approx. 2500km on it. There's a bump / clunk that feels like it is in the steering column when you turn sharply at low speeds (parking lot maneuvers - forward / backing up)and at lows speeds over speed bumps / pot holes.

The technician drove another one off the lot and said it did an identical thing - so he thought that was normal. I have never driven a new vehicle (auto/truck) that does this. He did say he had another person come in amongst same complain a month or so earlier. They're claiming that it's normal. Theres no way this ought to be normal.

I'd a buddy of mine that's a mechanic drive it and he was able to hear and feel the bump. I had the ultimate desire him to tell me what it was so I could take it back to the dealership and tell them what it was. He said that it sounds like no different problem alot of GM vehicles, especially trucks are having. Something to carry out with where the steering column connects to the rack. He did not know of a fix for this dilemma. I did several searches for this dilemma online and found another person who had no different exact problem. You would have thought I had written the complaint. However, there was no response to his question. For another person to have no different exact problem there has to be others.

As you know it's such a inconvenience to take a vehicle in for repairs, especially when I feel I'll get the runaround again. I'm hoping somebody knows what I'm able to tell them to carry out to fix it.

Honda accord 1998 loose steering?

Basically the steering wheel feels loose when driving. I have taken my car to a mechanic and they told me all is nice and tight. They told me the single thing they could suggest is the tires (old and nearly bare). I needed new tires anyways so I got all new tires. After it was fixed I drove it and I've more command over it however the steering wheel still feels loose. Am I a little paranoid about this or do you've any suggestions on my problem???

My Honda Civic 2005 at 40, 000 Miles and has a steering problem?

I've this crancking noise when I take a sharp turn at low speed, specially after I come to a stop. It seems to be coming from under the steering column/ dash board/ right front wheel??? It sounds more mechanical than electrical and it's similar to a twisting or torsion on a spring. I took a look inside around and behind the wheels, checked the power steering fluid...everything seems to be ok. Any answers out there?I will be taking to gain fixed in 2 days, Is it dangerous to drive it until then?
