Honda Civic, Type R or Type S???right folks, im not really great with cars, im a girl lol! however i'm getting the honda civic, only dont know to gain type r or s? what's the main difference? would it only be silly for me to obtain the type R when im not truly into cars? however at an identical time, i dont desire only a basic honda civic!! ooh im confused. i only truly like this auto, however confused as there's a lot of diverse options for it! i wish i knew further about cars lol! it'll be a private contract hire over 3 years, my budget would be £270.00 incl TAX. pls assist!! aaarrrggghhh!Read more on this topic what components do i need for a type r head swap on my 2000 civic si?i would like to put a type r head on my B16A1 engine in my civic si. i know i need the head itself however do i should get my ecu reflashed or do i need a piggyback chip or can i only install the head and thats the finish of it. at an identical time if i do do the swap will my car stil be as reliable as it's immediately. any info would be greatly appreciated.Read more on this topic Honda Type R (Old Style pre 2006) Vs Toyota Celica 190 Vs Ford Focus ST170?I'm looking to purchase one of the above cars. Does anybody have any suggestion on which one to go for. I fancy the Type R personally as it appears greatest for reliability, performance and sheer fun factor, however I do like the styling and interior of the celica 190. The Focus is by far the cheapest, has the greatest handling (so I'm led to believe), is the easiest to locate and I'd suspect the easiest and cheapest to repair. The Focus and Celica wont touch the Type R on performance (0-60 = 7.9, 7.4, 6.4 respectively), however an car is a lot lot more than straight line speed. I've heard that you truly need to thrash the nuts of the Civic to gain it to do whatever thing due to a lack of torque. I have the belief that this can also be the case for the Toyota as well. I even now cannot make my mind up and would appreciate any comments individuals can have regarding these three (especially if you've owned or driven one yourself).CheersRead more on this topic
