Honda Prelude, V-Tec engine bhp figures?I am looking to purchase a Honda Prelude in the following few weeks. The're most out there, however I am looking at the '96-00 model. The 2.2 V-tec is the engine of choice, however does anybody know the distinction from the 185bhp (up to '99) and 197bhp (99on) engines? It appears a number of couple months later I've an oil leak. It appears not all the bolts that hold down the valve cover gasket are there? Does anybody understand how a lot bolts hold down the gasket and where they're located? Or is there a website that may show me a design? Sure looks to me like at least 1 bolt on right side (facing engine) of valve cover gasket is missing. It's threaded and no bolt is there, this is also the side where oil seems to be dripping. Any assist is greatly appreciated.Head Gasket was changed not long ago. A bolt as mentioned appears to be missing.Vehicle has had all scheduled work as needed.Valve cover gasket was changed not long ago, not head gasket, sorry.Read more on this topic d15b v-tec not connected?d15b i only got the and only discovered that three plugz arround the v tec silinoid aren't connected to anywhere and there's not a single whires for the plugs comuing from the harnes. i think that the engine was swaped however not the ECU or harnest obvioulsy.... My question is, is my v teck always on or off since it is not connected?Read more on this topic
