96 honda accord vtec 2.2l?is it always better for the vtec to kick in sooner or later,does it all matter on performance and take off ect. another thing reason for asking, theres a chip on ebay that said itl make my vtec kick in at 2500 rpm, is it better to carry out that, and also it makes my redline a 8500 rpm does that mean the rev limiter wont cut on no more, whats better the chip or stock, when does vtec normally kick in.Read more on this topic Need some help,Tuners, can i put vtech head on my 1.7L engine?Desire more horse power, have daily driver,desire to do a bit with what i've with no, gettin into loads of cash. im sure i'll need to bore the block, and desire to install other bolt on horsepower, would it be less cost to carry out an engine swap? What can I put in that somewhat effortlessly for an engine, and whats the distinction from vtec ULEV and non ULVE and How can I know if a JDM motor would work? H23A1 HONDA?I've a 94 honda accord w/ a newly replaced F22B1 engine that's currently car trans. I've come across a deal where I'm able to purchase a 94 prelude front "clip" w/ a guide transmission for a wonderful cost from what folks tell me. I've also located the other guide parts( pedal, shift cables, slave cylinder, etc.) for an extra 125.00. I intend on a street/strip prepare for my daily driver - not a thing over the edge however I do enjoy mods. Most. Question being; does anybody know if this would be an improved setup to run over what I've already? Cause I've forked out rather a penny in it already however it seems to lack the horsepower gains I expected. I'm not happy however also not totally finished - overall which would be the better build to satisfy my needs?Read more on this topic
