Will a VTEC motor fit?I was only wondering if anybody knew if a vtec motor would fit in my honda? I called around searching for a motor within 24 hours and the just kind I could locate were vtec. The motor I've in my 4 door honda civic immediately is a 1.6 Liter D16Y7 motor (non vtec)! If you are able to assist me i'd greatly appriciate it.Read more on this topic can i put a vtec engine inside a 93 honda civic cx with all original parts without changing......another thing? my civic has all original parts. it is a 93 hatchback cx. do i need to change anything or make any adjustments for the vtec engine to work? or will it work only fine on it is own?i already have to obtain a new engine, so i can't do a mini-mi conversion. i figured since i already need to replace the engine, why not get a vtec?Read more on this topic
