Can you put a vtec head on a ZC block?

I've a ZC with a Vtec head, however the vtec won't do the trick and the head got messed up. So I should get a new one. I only desire to understand if the Vtec head actually going to work so I'm able to only get a Non-Vtec head.I've a CRX I only changed the motor, however I am using all stock parts. All I changed was the motor block and I put a vtec head. I am do not desire to get the ECU so I only put the Vtec direct. All I would like to know if it is going to work if I put a vtec head on a ZC block. How does the motor it self does not control the vtec. How does the oil get to the selenoid?

Vtec Over V8?

Who ever said that ricers cannot beat a V8, is so lost in wasting gas!!! I've a 92 Honda Civic 4 Cyl. With turbo that smokes Corvetts z06 all day, and my civic is a everyday driver!! You need to look at Horse Power and weight ratio....my civic is putting to the wheel 480hp, 11:36 @123 quater mile........REMEBER EVERYDAY DRIVER

Apexi vtec controller v-afc2 question??

Hi, I was trying to build the Apexi Vtec controller V-AFC2 in my car (it is either 2 or II) the prod code is 401-a915/401-a815... I dont know if that helps... well... I was wondering if the're guidelines in spanish, or where could I get a more easy guide... I got the guidelines however, it's too difficult for me to comprehend it. thanks.I forgot to add that this is to install in a B16jap honda 2000 civic coupe. old vtec car (1997)making a gurgling sound on the engine?

while driving 40kph,i abruptly stopped with no slowing down and placed my automatic car to the parked position,,it suddenly created a funny sound like grinding teeth on the engine part,,immediately i'm able to hear a faint sound nearly similar to a gurgling sound everytime i step on the gas.i'll go to a mechanic however i only desire to understand beforehand what could well be the problem.honda vti 1997
