Manual on how to fix a window in my Honda?Searching for (hopefully) a free guide or ebook on the way to fix my car window. It's a 1992 Honda Accord, power windows and all other windows work. Would prefer to AT LEAST gain the ability to trouble shoot prior to having to gain it fixed. If I can achieve it myself, I'll.....I only need a little assist from all of you..THANK YOU!Read more on this topic My power windows will not work on my '93 Civic LX sedan, whats wrong??Hey, Ive got a '93 honda civic lx and suddenly the power windows only stopped working. None of the windows will move at all (up or down), and it's like this no matter which switch you use (ie none of the windows roll down if you use the drivers front or back switchs or the passenger front or back switches). I checked all the fuses and none were blown, so I tried replacing the drivers master pw switch, and they still did not work. So I turned the car on and checked for power in the wire harness that the switch connects into with a voltohmeter and none of these wires had power to them! So I've no idea what is wrong...Im thinking perhaps the fuse for the power windows is bad and maybe you only cant tell truly from looking at it, however I don't know which fuse is the power window switch! The cover for my fuse panel is missing and I can't locate a diagram anywhere on the internet! Does anybody have any ideas or have a picture of a fuse panel for one of these cars?? Thank you a ton!!I discovered a fuse diagram and figured out which fuses were for the windows...all the fuses were great however only to be safe cause I was out of ideas I replaced the 4 fuses for the 4 windows and it didnt make a difference. (yeah the fuses dont share with another thing on this car I learnt)I got the haynes guide (cause I dont have the owners guide) however it didnt show me to much, I checked the wiring in the drivers door and it all looked great...and I checked the wiring diagrams in the guide to see where else something could have gone wrong however it looked like nearly all the wiring is in the door, and like I said that all looked great. I also took a voltohmeter and checked to see if the switch was getting any power and it wasnt (I did this prior to I checked the fuses and the wiring). Im out of ideas..Does anybody have any other ideas that would make all the windows go out?? I cant figure this one out! After starting the auto, I'm able to put the window down, however then it is certain to not go back up until the car has run for 15 or 20 minutes, nearly like it has to "warm up". Any idea what the dilemma is, whether it's an simple DIY fix, or how much a mechanic would charge to fix it ?Read more on this topic How can I fix a manual window for my 2000 honda civic?I've a 2000 honda civic... my buddy was driving it and went to role the window up and something snaped inside... immediately the window is in one peice however something on the inside came loose... or snaped... is there any way i'm able to get in there and fix it myself... if not... how much would it cost to gain it fixed... and the way much would it cost to gain power windows?how do you take away the panel?Read more on this topic
